The meeting started at 1 pm with 55 members and 1 guest in attendance.

Current Membership is 373
Current bank balance: $8535.43.
Larry announced there are 113 members with paid dues.
Larry showed some wood triangular flag cases that are available to assemble. Larry can put you in touch with the particulars. He distributed three.
Old Business
If you served in the military between Nov 1955 and May 1975, you are eligible to receive the Vietnam commemorative pin. Award pin/certificate See me after the meeting if you have not received one.
If you have a photo of yourself while you were in the service, please send a copy to me through an email or text so I can post on our website with the other 103 photos.
Mike has been adding bricks to the Legacy Walkway. If you want a brick let me know, I'll send the order form. Designate the Veterans Club as the club sponsor and we get $30 from your order.
New Business
Looking for 4 volunteers on May 26th to put up flags in SCOV and 4 volunteers on May 28 to take down flags in SCOV.
Join us for the Meet & Greet happy hour at 3:30 on Wed June 5th at the Views.
There will be a memorial for Roger Misgen on May 18th at 2PM. Mike will send a reminder.
Mike discussed his desire to place a veteran’s memorial in SCOV.

Bob Watson discussed VA services overseas in Dominican Republic. Some others added comments.
Bruce expressed the need for Docents at the 390th museum in the Pima air and space museum. No experience is needed.
Speakers
Our guest speaker is Kenn Riordan. Kenn gave us a prospective on the war in Ukraine. He was an advisor to senior decision makers on all aspects of national security affairs related to homeland defense. He was a Senior Secretary of Defense Representative and White House Military Aide to President Reagan for two years.
