Veteran Club members Larry Webster, Jeannette Moore and Mike LaBarbera attended the grand opening of the Veterans Center, with college dignitaries, at the Pima Community College NW campus on March 9, 2022. We donated $500 to this organization.
On Tuesday March 15th Veteran Club members Reagan Bell, Gary Meneley, Jerry Moss, Jeannette Moore, Paco Munson and Mike LaBarbera assisted the Tucson Veterans Serving Veterans for their "Stand Down" that gives donated clothing, free haircuts, dental services and more to need Veterans. We enjoyed lunch at the Angry Crab Shack afterwards. We donated $500 to this organization.
On Wednesday April 6th, 20 Veteran Club members met for happy hour Meet & Greet at the Views
Missing In America Project finds and ceremoniously inters fallen Veterans who have been unclaimed in southern Arizona. On Saturday, April 23, Mike LaBarbera and Mike Monroe carried remains for the ceremony and Dallas Watkins held the US Marine Corp flag during the event. In addition, 7 other members were present to witness the dignified burial of unclaimed Veterans.
On Wednesday May 4th, about 20 Veteran Club members met for happy hour "Meet & Greet" at the Views
On Friday, May 27th, over 20 Veteran Club members helped put US Flags on all the grave sites at the Marana Veterans Cemetery for Memorial Day. Afterward we met at the Feedlot Cafe for an enjoyable breakfast.
On Tuesday, June 7th, over 14 Veteran Club members helped deliver clothing donated by residents from SCOV to Women's Warriors Tucson and Gospel Rescue Mission.
Nine Club members put up US Flags around SCOV for the July 4th holiday.
Friday, July 29th, Ian Friedlander and Mike LaBarbera delivered 5 computers and 2 tablets to Pima Community College Veteran Center for use by Veterans. The Technology Club cleaned the hard drives and reset the computers to factory standards. Rafael Rojas accepted them for the Veterans Center.

About 25 members shared stories and comradery at the Meet & Greet and the Views on Wednesday, October 5th.
On October 8th, 7 members participated in the Missing in America Project in motorcycle escort of 18 unclaimed Veterans from the funeral home to Marana Veteran Cemetery and carrying the remains during the ceremony.

Ed Caine helped other club members put US Flags up around SCOV on Monday, Nov 7 to celebrate Veterans Day.
Club members helped put US Flags on the grave sites at the Marana Veterans Cemetery on Nov 10th to celebrate Veterans Day. Breakfast at the Feedlot Cafe afterwards.
5 Club members helped deliver non-perishable food items to the VA Pantry on Tuesday, Dec 6. VA staff were very grateful for the donations. We got a tour of the pantry which was quite small.
