This will be reviewed with Mark Wade and possible Board approval might be required.
- Guest speaker was Kathy Mansur from Honor Flight Southern Arizona. Her presentation gave us an excellent and interesting overview of how this organization honors WW2, Korean War, and some Vietnam veterans an opportunity to fly to Washington, D.C. to visit the Memorial Walls, Arlington National Cemetery, and several other memorials in that area. This is at no cost to the veterans.
- The Honor Flight Southern Arizona hub was established in 2008 and has provided 29 flights to 957 veterans. This involves a 3 day trip from Tucson-Washington, D.C. This is a very valuable organization that honors the veterans with this memorable once in a lifetime trip.
