Hi all 5-19
I hope everyone is healthy and maintaining their sanity as this pandemic is stretching our patience to the limits.
- Just a Common Soldier - Worth the 5 minutes to watch
- A tribute to the American fallen
- Check attachment of a carrier landing under radio silence.
- VA encourages use of telehealth to prevent COVID-19
- Create a free remembrance plaque for yourself or another Veteran
- I am also working on the July 4th SCOV parade. If you have a motorcycle, convertible or a golf cart and want decorate with US Flag or Americana decorations, you are welcome to participate. I will be sending updated information as we get closer.
- The Veterans Club is again collecting personal hygiene products for the homeless Veterans. Now, more than before, there are more displaced Veteran families due to the COVID-19. Baby items are needed. I will be collecting items until the Friday after Memorial Day, May 29. Full size hygiene products are preferred but travel size will be accepted. Socks & underwear must be new. Thank you SC. Deliver to 2145 E Bighorn Mountain Dr.
- The General Manager and Board of Directors will determine what facilities and buildings will be open at their Thursday meeting. There could be some restrictions with the opening. If allowed, we will have our June 1 meeting on the Kiva patio, behind the Activities Center, at 4PM. About half the patio will be shaded by that time. I will update everyone once I get word.
As always, thank you for your service
Mike
