Hi all, 1-17
- Veterans Club members Ralph Liguori, Bill Baker, Dennis Reynolds, Tom Bethea, David Thomas and myself enjoy lunch after delivering over 150 lbs. of personal hygiene items to the temporary Veterans housing unit in Tucson on Monday. Very rewarding being able to help unfortunate comrades in dire straits.
- Good news. Dues paying members are up to 57%. Please see Dennis before our Feb 3rd meeting or contact me to pay your $5 annual dues.
FYI - I got the following email unexpectedly from the manager of the Tucson Concert Band USMC. Mark the date if you are interested in attending.
Dear Mike,
I am pleased to let you and the members of the SCOV Veterans Club that the United States Navy Band/Southwest from San Diego and the Tucson Concert Band will present a joint concert on Sunday February 23, 2020 at 1:30 pm at Crowder Hall in the Fox School of Music on the U of A Campus.
This is a free concert and open to the public. If you would please send this information to your members it would be much appreciated.

Manager, Tucson Concert Band USMC, Armed Forces Bicentennial Band, Washington, DC
I spoke to Julie Irwin, member Gary Irwin's wife yesterday. He is recovering well after heart surgery and will be hospitalized 4-5 days. Prayers for him and his family.
We could use one more club member for our team of 3 for the Point-In-Time homeless count in Tucson. Let me know if you register so we can carpool. Survey class is on Monday, Jan 27 @5:30PM. Homeless counts starts at 6AM Wednesday, Jan 29
As always, thank you for your service
Mike
