Hi all 12-1
Share the camaraderie and rivalry by watching the Army/Navy Football Game in the SCOV Auditorium Dec 12 @ 1PM. We will view the game on the 2 large screens in the front of the Auditorium for better visibility. Bring your spouse or SCOV friends. Free BBQ pork and potato salad for Veteran Club members available for pick up at Ed Caines house, corner of Del Webb & Chalk Creek Dr before the game beginning at 12:30. Bring your own buns, silverware and container for the food. Eat on the patio tables near the bocce courts before the game or bring in the Auditorium. We can't serve shareable food in SCOV buildings. I've opened the invitation to SCOV residents to watch the game but not enjoy the BBQ.
I've sent out separate email earlier to those who told me they would be going to the Army/Navy game on Dec 12th. If you didn't receive my email and want to watch the game with us, let me know by email with the number in your party.
2nd annual Veterans Club SCOV donation for "Wreaths Across America". Make a donation for $15 per wreath to the Veterans Cemetery in Marana. Fill out the form to buy wreaths (red "Sponsor a wreath" button) directly for the Marana Cemetery. Let me know if you want to join the other 5 club members and volunteer to lay wreaths at the cemetery on Saturday, December 19th.
